I should lie and just talk roses about F-S cause this is its site? Please. The point of being negative when your expressing your oppinion is if your oppinion is actually negative. It's all good and IMHO we can do without NEGATIVE signature tags slamming the FS on an FS site!ДЄrtemio is fair game though Jim(knudge knudge wink wink)! My point is WHAT IS THE POINT OF BEING NEGATIVE WHEN EXPRESSING YOUR OPINION? I think since I've lost it here before I'll but in FBJ ) This forum can be very fun and informative and I don't see why it can't be positive at the same time. I think that you all know what I was trying to say though. I think that we all know that I wonвЂ™t be able to get through tomorrow without trying to be funny in some way or another in a post.

Maybe I should not have said that I think that we need to conduct ourselves in the MOST professional manor possible. I know that my post ended up sounding very diplomatic or at least I hope it did because this is what I ended up with and decided would be the best way to do this after several drafts of this post. Rather than single out any one person for their comments, whether they be good or bad in my opinion, I would just like to say that maybe we all need to ask ourselves why we are here on this web site and that whatever the answer may be that I think that we should be here in the most professional manor possible.

I have had some time to think about the way this thread has gone and I have to admit that I think a couple of good points have been made on this thread. That being said, I fear that I posted this post on the wrong subject and at the wrong time.

The post I made above was more about my way of thinking when it comes to magazine reviews than anything else. I donвЂ™t want other people to buy it if there really is major problems with this keyboard and if that is the case I will have no problems getting rid of mine at a possible substantial loss and then moving on to another manufacturer but as it stands right now I think that the F-S is a good product that I am very happy with. Being that I own the F-S I donвЂ™t want to be left in the cold with this thing because sales are poor. Personally, I am glad that a review finally came out on the F-S and that it was a positive review. If I had anything to add to this thread as it stands right now it would be that on one of my many phone calls to Roland last week one of the people I talked to kept going on and on about Keyboard Magazine and that they were really the only credible source for reviews of their products. There was a time that I though that a more unbiased review could be found at Harmony Centrals user reviews but those days are over as well in my opinion. When was the last time that you read a negative review in Keyboard Magazine on a product that came from one of their big advertisers? I have not purchased Keyboard Magazine for over a year now and one of the reasons for this is because I started to get turned off by keyboard magazineвЂ™s reviews. I have not read this review yet so I canвЂ™t say anything about it really. IвЂ™m not taking sides here but I would like to point out the second post on this thread (link above) that I made about a month and a half ago. I was just about to post my thoughts on this thread when I saw you apology post. Beyond those things, it's largely a matter of preference, and frankly it'd be hard to go wrong with either.' If fantom-S has the edge, it's in the pad bank, massive expansion capacity, and USB file transfer. He even compares it to the Motif 8 at the end: 'Yamaha's Motif 8 offers a lot of the same goodies, accessed in different ways to be sure, but the feature sets are quite similar. Ken Hughes really loved working with it and really had nothing bad to say, other than (1) it could use a few more outputs and (2) he wished it had the 'handles' on the side like the S61 has. The review reads more like a Roland ad than a review, in a good way.
